Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Kuusamo; transfer to Basecamp Oulanka.
Day 2: Dogsledding instruction and tour of about 10km. Adults drive with children sitting in sleds.
Day 3: Gentle half day snowshoe walk, exploring the Park; free use of snowshoes in the afternoon.
Day 4: Visit reindeer farm and museum. Meet the Sami people and enjoy hot drinks around open fire.
Day 5: Free day in Ruka. Morning option of snowmobile safari including lunch by an open fire. Afternoon option of downhill skiing.
Day 6: Morning cross-country ski lesson. Free use of skis after lesson. Afternoon in children's snow park, sledging, building igloos and snowmen.
Day 7: Free day. Optional activities include ice climbing, frisbee park, further dogsledding or snowmobile tours.
Day 8: Transfer to Kuusamo; fly to London.
