Route: Travel suggested route by train from St. Pancreas International to Amboise, via Paris - not included Transport 21 speed bikes. Child (7years plus) and trailer - bikes (4-6 years) available.
Accommodation: Along the route we use comfortable family run two- or three-star hotels all offering traditional local cuisine
Meals: Breakfast and 4 dinners included
Group size and age: Min 2, self-guided. Luggage is transferred; route notes, map and contact numbers are supplied. Minimum age 3.
2010 Departure Dates: Wednesday to Wednesday or Saturday to Saturday. Start any Saturday from 28 March to 24 October; plus Wednesdays from 22 July to 02 September.

Itinerary
Day 1: Start Amboise.
Day 2: Ride along peaceful country roads to the village of Fougeres, where we stay opposite a medieaval chateau.
Day 3: Cycle through quiet villages of the Sologne to Bracieux, with optional stops at the Chateau of Fougeres, and the grander Cheverny.
Day 4: Rest day in Bracieux or circular ride through the forests to the Chateau de Chamford, an extraordinary collection of turrets and spires.
Day 5: Riverbank ride following the lazy Loire to explore Chaumont - sur - Loire.
Day 6: Rest day to explore the chateau Chaumont or circular ride to the mediaeval city of Blois.
Day 7: Cycle through rolling countryside to Amboise with optional stop at the Chateau of Chenonceaux; time to visit the last home of Leonardo da Vinci, and the castle of Amboise.
Day 8: End Amboise.
