Bedouin Desert Guides
The desert environment of the Sinai Peninsula is particularly fragile and the Travel Foundation are working to protect this area for your future enjoyment, by developing accredited training courses for desert guides. The courses educate guides on how to protect against environmental damage, as well as best communicate clear guidance for the tourist.
The Travel Foundation encourages local people, particularly Bedouin, to qualify as guides and offer improved livelihoods for them and their families as well as giving visitors an authentic experience within this beautiful environment.

Snorkelling Guides
If you travel to Egypt and decide to take a snorkelling tour, please make sure the guide you use are properly trained. The Travel Foundation has developed an official snorkelling training certificate in the South Sinai. The aim is to help protect the precious marine environment and improve customer safety, as well as ensure a great experience.
