The Residence, TunisiaAn elegant hotel graced with marble columns and luxuriously appointed guestrooms and suites, all with private balconies and enjoying an idyllic location on the shores of a golden, sandy beach. It is the first five star hotel of its kind to be built in this country at the crossroads of Europe and Africa. There are many activities available at the hotel including a fabulous Thalosso spa.

There is a wide range of dining opportunities at The Residence, from the Mediterranean specialities at L'Oliver to the Chinese delicacies of Li Bai or the more casual Poolside Grill serving light snacks during the summer. The hotel has one outdoor, freshwater, heated swimming pool with a children's section, which is heated from mid-April to mid-October. Other sports facilities available nearby include catamarans and windsurfing and the hotel has two hard surface, floodlit tennis courts. There is also one 18-hole golf course within 12 miles of the hotel. The hotel's 'Thermes Marins de Carthage' spa offers hammams and thalasso therapy techniques. Please note that children under 15 are not permitted into the 'Thermes Marins' and it is a sea water swimming pool.

The hotel has 155 rooms and 9 suites. All rooms and suites have a telephone, satellite LCD television, DVD player, free WiFi access, tea and coffee facilities, complete laundering service, mini-bar and a safe. There is room service 24h/24h.

The suites have private balconies with views over the swimming pool or the sea.

All rooms and suites are subtly perfumed with the relaxing fragrance of orange blossoms.
