Standing on a headland at the tip of the Vassilikos Peninsula, surrounded by mature olive groves and glorious countryside, Periyali Villas feel delightfully rural yet are far from remote. Porto Roma, with its beach and small selection of shops and tavernas is only 700 metres away and a ten-minute stroll through the surrounding olive groves takes you to the magnificently unspoilt, sandy beach of Gerakas, a protected nesting site of the Loggerhead Turtle. There is also a tiny, sheltered cove just below the villas, accessed down a flight of steps. The little shingle beach here is the perfect spot for a refreshing morning swim.
Periyali Villas are surrounded by extensive gardens abundant with eucalyptus, geraniums and even palm trees and the path that leads through the grounds is bordered on both sides with pink oleander. Each villa has a private patio with a barbecue, most of which are sea-facing although the views may be somewhat obstructed by the buoyancy of the vegetation in this magnificent natural setting. We can strongly recommend this complex for a family friendly holiday.
