Italy & Sardinia

italy.jpgItaly & Sardinia - Italy is a spectacular paradox of landscapes and lifestyles, a rich mosaic of scenic variety and cultural diversity, in a land where each region has such distinctive individuality one feature remains constant - the endearing charm and welcoming nature of its people. The Amalfi coastline, boasting one of the best coastlines in Europe, the islands of Capri and Ischia will capture the imagination of anyone.

The breathtaking beauty of the Lakes, the immense and beautiful countryside of Tuscany and Umbria, delicious local cuisine and fine wines are just some of the wonderful pleasures this country has in store for you.

Florence

One of Italy's best loved cities, it provides a haven for art lovers; boasting the colourful renaissance architecture of the Duomo plus a multitude of museums and galleries including the world famous Uffizi.

Sardinia

Sardinia is the island in the Mediterranean which most closely resembles the Caribbean, although this hardly gives a complete picture of the island, which has a rugged, mountainous interior, with forests, rivers, herds of wild horses and ancient towns and villages.Sardinia offers quite simply the most spectacularly unspoilt beaches you could wish for.

Sicily

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and has long been the 'melting pot' of ancient cultures. It has many lovely sandy beaches and a wealth of holiday towns and villages. The landscape of Sicily is beautiful and varied. In the north-east, Mount Etna with its fertile slopes and valleys supports a number of vineyards. In the south-east there are the beautiful forest-covered mountains; the landscape characterised by soft hills, with vineyards, olive groves, almond trees, citrus and carob trees. The weather is mild all year round and temperatures will normally not go below 15 degrees, even in the coldest months.

Venice

This glorious city, built on an archipelago of more than 100 islands, traversed by 200 canals, spanned by 400 bridges, continues to rise above the watersof the lagoon and the flowing tide of visitors.
